Projects and Research

During its existence, the Highway Institute has completed numerous studies, projects, and other research, analyses, and expert evaluations in the fields of traffic, geology, geotechnics, hydraulics, environmental protection, and more, including:

Over 300 traffic studies on road network development, sectoral traffic studies within spatial plans, traffic studies for cities, transportation models and traffic management studies, methodological studies, regulations, guidelines, etc.
Over 200 scientific research studies in the fields of traffic, geotechnics, geology, pavement structures, construction technology, production and processing technology of construction materials, environmental protection, and various other studies, analyses, and expert evaluations within the domain of the Institute's activities.

Numerous geotechnical investigations for the construction of road facilities, tunnels (over 100), and bridges (over 700), as well as numerous geotechnical investigations of stabilization conditions and preparation of construction projects for land instability remediation, including well-known landslides such as "Umka," "Duboko," "Ražanj," near the "Sloboda" bridge, "Begaljica," and others.
