The Belgrade Bypass facilitates the relocation of transit traffic out of the Serbian capital. Currently under construction, its total length will be 69 kilometers..
Upon completion, the Belgrade Bypass will redirect traffic from the overloaded main network of urban streets to the Bypass. This will contribute to reducing travel time for transit flows, decreasing the number of traffic accidents, lowering vehicle operating costs, and reducing harmful gas emissions and noise from vehicles in the narrower urban area.
