One of the most important Pan-European transport routes, Corridor 10, connects Austria, Hungary, Serbia, North Macedonia, and Greece. A significant portion of this corridor has been designed by The Highway Institute. The section Xc of the corridor, from Niš to Dimitrovgrad, serves as a link between Serbia and Bulgaria.
This project ensures that the transportation system of the Republic of Serbia becomes compatible with the transportation system of the European Union, with a tendency for further modernization to prepare the Republic of Serbia to adhere to European Union standards in the field of transport.
